In 2021, Rejoice Tapon graduated from the US Navy Bootcamp and the 5-month Corpsman A-School.

The Corpsman rate (i.e. job) is called HM.
There are about 36 different C-Schools (advanced training schools) that you can go to after graduating from A-School.
There is no B-School.
A-School graduates who do not go to a C-School are considered a Quad Zero (0000). They are generalists whereas C-School graduates are specialists. Both are equally necessary and important. Neither is "better" than the other.
The US Navy Corpsman is the most decorated position in the US military. They not only serve in Navy hospitals (both on land and at sea), but they also provide all the medical needs of the US Marines Corps. Thus, they are embedded in almost every Marine operation.

On July 28, 2021, USA Navy Hospital Corpsmen Class 135 graduated after 5 months of training.
Watch their cadence as they march to their graduation in Fort Sam Houston.
About 20% of the US Navy is female, so you may be wondering why around 80% of Class 135 was female.
Answer: random luck.
The Corpsman rate (HM) is mostly men, but this particular class, through some random fluke, was disproportionately female.
