CDT thru-hike via the Grand Teton

Post by junipur » Sun May 27, 2018 4:36 pm

Hi there!

I'm planning on hiking the CDT from WWR northbound via Grand Teton, based on your post. Where on the CDT do you break off - is it at the Green River Lakes Trailhead? And which trail will get through to The Cache Creek Trail into Jackson? Any info would be helpful.

Thanks!

Doh! You're taxing my memory banks! :D
I don't remember exactly since it was a decade ago.
Here's my advice:

1) Download and examine Jonathan Ley's CDT Maps.

2) If you have Android, use the Backcountry Navigator app. I've used it for a decade and it works well. The paid version is best but try the free version first since it does a lot. I don't have any financial interest in them. I just love it.

3) I remember the Green River Trailhead as a point that I broke off. I'm 80% sure of that. I don't remember the other details.

Good luck!
