I intend to do several podcasts in 2009 on Eastern Europe. In each episode I will interview one or more individuals from Eastern Europe.
If you're from Eastern Europe (or spent a few years living there), then I'm interested in talking with you. I'll be asking you questions various general questions about your country. It's fun and easy!
I look forward to hearing back from you!
Are you from Eastern Europe? I want to interview you!

Hi Francis
As far as I've seen you've got no one from Hungary yet, so let me know if I can help you in anything (like, interviews or beta reading). Please only after December 7 though
I'm also very curious of the experiences you had in my country

Re: Are you from Eastern Europe? I want to interview you!
Kriszti,
Thanks for writing! I would love to hear your thoughts! Hungary is one of the hardest countries in Europe to write about. It's a complex history, language, and people. So I need all the input I can get!
it's already one of my longest chapters. I have written 40 pages, so I need to edit because there are 25 chapters (one for each country). I will send you an email.
Meanwhile, after Dec 7, 2009, I would appreciate it if you read the first 3 chapters. You can download them for free on my website.
Thank you!

Dear Francis,
I read your book and pretty much like it. Should you need any updates, new topics, etc. concerning Hungary, I'm happy to help. I'm living in Szeged, working as tour-guide.
Looking forward hearing from you.
István

Re: Are you from Eastern Europe? I want to interview you!
Hi István,
I always welcome updates/corrections to The Hidden Europe.
I'll be updating it in 2021 (the 10-year anniversary of the first publication), but if you have things you want to share now, let me know.
The other advantage of that date is that we'll see if my prediction that Hungary will make a big deal about the 100th anniversary of the Treaty of Trianon will be correct or not!

Hi Francis,
thanks for your interest.
Actually the most important update would be, that despite of the our current fame, we still can keep our Martian roots, creating promising and progressive thing: like Prezi, glass-concrete, Attraction Theatre Group, or easily just being/staying positive and hoping the best possible to come.
Concerning the anniversary, well, if you don't mind I'd rather pt my vote vote for, or against that "bog deal" in 2018.
