You seem very experienced in getting sponsorship for your distance hikes, and I was hoping for a bit of advice how to begin. I am thru-hiking the PCT this year, and am looking for sponsorship to help absorb some of the costs, and to help send donations to trails in need. I was curious how you initially contacted companies, and what you offered in return for "sponsorship" (and what this sponsorship entailed).
