Good luck with your trip round Africa, I'm envious and I'm not if you see what I mean..... for my sins along time ago in the '80s I was a Dragoman driver and they sent me down the Nile and back, I got back okay just managed to pick up Bilharzia & Scistoscomia!! OH and watch out for the girls down there in Niarobi they are lovely and have names like Gladys.....another story
2 things lead me to contact you;
Firstly, you might run into some friends of mine doing a Transafrica in a Landrover Disco called Ben & Gen. This is their blog http://benandjenadventures.wordpress.com/
They are nice people oh and he is a great mechanic!!!! They are 3 months into a 1 year trip.
Secondly, I'm reading Hidden Europe and am really enjoying it. I'm taking a group of Aussie farmers on an agricultural tour of Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary & Turkey in June 2013 and this book has got me thinkin big time......
